Help with memory on K-jet/L-sond default mode... 200 1985Ti

Dear Don, et al,

I'm sitting here at work trying to test my memory. Yeah right....but really I don't have any manuals with me....

Here's the situation:

On Bosch K-jetronic cars with O2 sensor input (ie turbos (and others) with Lambda Sond) when the O2 sensor is disconnected at idle, is there an "ECU no signal default mode" to some pre-programmed duty cycle?

In other words (IOW), if there is "NO default for a no signal condition" and voltage is essentially zero this would be like a "low" signal from the O2 sensor, so with the O2 sensor disconnected the ECU would contantly say: "hey, gotta increase duty cycle, to richen the mixture"? (So with O2 sensor disconnected frequency valve via the ECU should be in high duty cycle mode?)

Ya'll know what I'm talking about, or am I all screwed up?
