Re: Problems 200 '83ti

Will

Thanks for the response

Ya, I love those easy fixes!

"It depends on how bright exactly it is. One of my

friends has a 244ti like mine and initially his was glowing like it

was a freeking comet or something."

It was a dull orange right at the collector. I not really worried about it since I was in boost quite a bit of the time beforehand. I am planning on tuning the A/F ratio quite soon.

" Huh. Was it dark out when you were looking at this? For some reason I

have a recollection of seeing this when it was dark out... Sorry got

side tracked. Thats pretty odd about those wires...well wires are

something that should be changed anyways I guess. "

It was totally dark when I was looking at the manifold and head, I put the car in the garage to make sure outside lights werent playing tricks on my eyes. Ya, I found it odd about the wires too.

"Well as my high school history teacher told the whole class,

"Life is a *itch and then you die." Heh, don't worry about

it. My car complains by breaking one thing or another right before I

do mods all the time. "

ya, heard that saying so many times. It seems quite true @ times.

My car complains like that too. Normally it is like, I fix one thing and something else pops up. Like removing the rear seats to add a trunk release and finding rust. Course other projects got completed with the rear seats out too!

Plugs, cap and rotor are practically brand new. I think less than 4 months old, I would have to refer to my records.

thanks

take care
