Hard telling what a fair price is.

I got my first 122 in 1971 for $425 and a 444 valued at $175.

It was a '63.

I got my second one for $400 in 1977. It had a LOT of problems.

I got my third one for $1600 in South Carolina in 1984. It also had

some problems - a wagon. I could have gotten one like it for $600

or 700 in Dallas in 1982 but had no way to ship it home at the time.

You want to look at the front suspension - make sure the lower A-frame

bushings are steelcased, not mounted with U-bolts.

You also want to look at the front seat floors from both underneath

and from inside under the floormat for rust, and the front fenders

both at bottom rear and around headlights for rust. If you can find

a very late one (68 or 69) you will get better brakes, etc. It will

also probably be in better shape and cost more. If you are in central

US I'd be glad to help you look at one.
