First you have to release the pressure of the system by removing the fuse for the pump and let the engine run. I guess if it's completely shot that won't be an issue. If it's the main pump, it's underneath the vehicle under a triangle support frame. I believe there's three bolts that hold that onto the undercarriage. After removing those you can lower it enough to get at the pump and remove the lines (inlet-exit), those are generally on very snug . If your on your back and not on a hoist they can be a challenge, but you will get them. The pump holder bracket can also be pretty rusty and difficult to remove if you need to. Sometimes it's not necessary 'cause you can just side it through. For a first timer the whole operation could take up to 1.5 hrs. Good luck
