Thanx for the info Al... I'm not sure what the R12 is, but what I can tell you is that the systeme that came from Volvo for the A/C is no longer available in Canada. (If i'm not mistaken, it's the use of freon that is against the new regulations....). Maybe my best option would be to go to the states and get it fixed there... The only probleme I see is why did it empty in the first place? If I have a leak in the compressor, I will have te get it changed too.... I'll get it checked on Monday and get back to you!
