Which engine? (Is the valve cover metallic? (B23F) or black? (B230F))

The B230 had two relays for the FI system. The B230F has one plastic box replay with a circuit board. the circuit board in this develops fins in the solder. Re-tin each dull looking pin on the board and that corrects fuel relay problems.

On the B23F relays, which are electro-mechanical, usually you just need to swap in a know good relay to see if this corrects things. (I think these two are the same, so reveres their positions aand see if that changes things) One is a fuel pump relay and the orher a system relay.

The B230F combines these into one electronic relay.
