Genaro, I could not get to the switch.

I followed instructions as per the 700FAQ's and removed the center console.

How did you remove the plastic faceplate with gear symbols on it to remove the switch. I couldn't, I didn't see any screws or clamps. I have a '92 740, is it the same as your '89.

Any guidance is appreciated. Also where did you buy the switch at.
