Dithering! ... the very word 140-160 1972

Dithering describes my wagon's steering exactly. It demands substantial concentration - no scenery watching. And yet, I'm told by two front end shops that everythings OK. I watch them try to rotate the linkage and it's difficult. The rubber seals are shot tho.

There's a fair amount of play in the wheel and I'm about to have the steering box overhauled but wonder if there's another test for bad linkage.

In regard to steering box; would it be wise to replace the roller bearings as well as seals and bushing?
