Re: Long trip prep! 200 89

Haroon,

I just got back from a thousand mile trip to Cape Hattaras, fully loaded. My '84 245 is pushing 220 K and I think I overdid it with the spare parts I took. They included

> spare AMM

> spare ignition module

> spare computer

> spare relays

> spare timing belt, hoses, belts

> extra qt of oil and tranny fluid

> pt of unopened brake fluid

> full set of tools including a volt meter and a timing light.

> can of PB Blaster

I managed to fit all of this in the space where the third seat used to be and in the fender well on the right side.

In retrospect, I took too much, especially in heavy tools. Hurt gas milage.

I wouldn't go without the spare electrical parts (spare fuses too).

Mike
