1992 240 o2 sensor? problems. What Gives? 200 1992

Recent history:

My 92 240 has always (I have owned it 2 years)started hard when it is cold. It has been getting harder to start recently.

The car gets about 22 mpg...when I first got it it was more like 26.

About a month ago I got a 2-3-2 code in hole #2, with no check engine light. I have checked for air leaks and have come up with none. FPR is not leaking. A couple days ago I got a 1-1-1.

Today I was pulling out of Target, and the Check Engine light came on. I got a 2-1-2 code. The upper connections for the o2 sensor seemed ok, but when I unplugged the connector, there was no change in the sound of the engine.

I don't own a multimeter...yet. That would probably help. I am going to Ann Arbor Michigan(from northern Minnesota) on Monday with a trailer full of pottery.

Any thoughts or sugguestions would be appreciated.

Steve Lloyd
