It might be time to replace some hoses 700 85

It's not unusual for various other brands which use Bosch injection to have problems, at your car's age, with the rubber hoses deteriorating inside, especially if there's been any significant amount of methanol in the fuel, and when they do that, rubber crap often blocks up the lines enough that the pump gets overworked maintaining pressure.
