You can't find a Volvo more different from a "typical" 240 than the 75 which is sort of half 140, at least in it's engine and drivetrain. Nevertheless, it could be cool to have.

On the related matter, your wife is WAY out of line on the multiple-Volvo limit thing. Ask yourself what you have done wrong in her indoctrination.
