It may take as many as 4 rotations of the crank for the original timing marks to come around on the belt and line up on the crank, the intermediate shaft, and the camshaft sprocket.

But it doesn't matter....as long as the crank and cam sprockets were initially in the correct position when you installed the cam belt, (third sprocket is intermediate) the crank/cam relationship will be correct.
