There is a sealk that fits around the driveshaft flange piece going into the differential. It's a fairly easy fix, involving detaching the driveshaft, removing the flange piece, removing the old seal, pressing in a new seal, and reassembling everything. Unless the rear end has leaked itself dry, nothing more should need to be done.
