Sunroof 700 1987

this is really small thing, but it seemed odd. the sunroof switch used to have a stop at either end of opening or closing. as in it stopped when it was closed and you had to hit it again to put it in the vent postion. now it keeps going to the vent position if you hold it down, making it a guessing game if the roofline is level or not. what gives?
