Possible seat solution... 200 1988

The sliding rack under the seat (between the seat and the floor) unbolts from the seat (after the seat is unbolted from the floor).

If the mounting holes on the floor of the cars are different, then exchange the sliding racks.

I have just put seats from a 1980 245 into my 78 242 - no problemo...

I even swapped the height adjustable base from one driver seat to the passenger seat - so both front seats feature tilting bases.
