Don't worry about the .034 gap...actually a wider gap will create a hotter spark to some extent.

The OD Relay is 2nd or third back on right side..white in color. You might also try wiggling while symptom is present..also plug in / out relay in front to correct. Eventually you will need to open and resolder..commom in a LOT of Bosch Relays..just like Bosch Alternators eat brushes..but hey...it's only a $3 brush set that can be replaced in a matter of minutes without removing the alterbator.(Just need to solder)
