Fosterize the relay 200 1986

Almost certainly the cause is bad solder connections in the overdrive relay which that little button controls. The repair is to resolder the connections, takes 10 minutes and cost nothing. This and the fuel pump relay are possibly the most frequent single problems reported on this site and fortunately the easiest to fix.

This process is called Fosterizing after Sir Don Foster who invented the process.
