EQ should be in center console infront of shifter abofe the ashtray. Some models have only a "pocket" there. If you have no EQ, then it is possible that the stereo is "toast" The only other place that I have seen amps is in the trunk on the underside of the rear deck (if you have a sedan) Also, if you have removed the head unit, re-check your connections.
