High co readings on my 245

I was mistaken on previous postings ,it is my CO reading that is too high not my CO2 levels. The alldata website shows that there is an adjustment screw under the alum. plug on the air flow meter that supposedly you can adjust the CO level. Has anyone out there done this adjustment? Also, can a bad oxygen sensor cause high CO readings? Don foster gave me some good ideas on this, but I am getting desparate and am looking for any and all suggestions on this as I have only 10 days left before my temporary tag runs out. This air flow meter adjustment makes sense, because it says in the tech. info on the alldata website, that if you turn the adj. screw counter clockwise it decreases the CO and clockwise increases it.
