My vote would be a B20E. If you allow 6 cylinder engines,

then I'd vote for the B30E. When I tore down my first B30

it had 204K, less than 0.005" cylinder wear and the rods and

mains plastigaged with new clearances. (Fiber timing gear was

shot and I misdiagnosed it as crank/bearing problems.)

With a new timing gear, maybe a set of rings it would probably

be running great now.
