Frequency of Oil Changes 200 1982

I have a high-mileage (> 200k) 240.

Is there any advantage to changing my oil more frequently than every 3,000 miles?

Is Duralube of any value in this car (original engine)?

Besides regular maintenance and oil changes, is there anything else I can do to prolong the life of the engine?
