You have the ratios right.....Jim may have a higher rear end, like 3.73.

I am dead-nuts on 3K at 80 mph. AW-70 tranny has same OD ratio as the M47 and I think a 3.73 axle. So it would make sense that you have a 3.31 rear end right?

Otherwise it could be speedo or tach error.
