Thanks everyone for the responses

My ZF is working Fine (180,000 kms) change the tranny fluid 2x a year

and as for the performance tips I think I'll get a turbo engine and yes I do know what I'm up against I put a used turbo engine in my brothers 1987 760 TI.

As far as the tranny goes I have one other question of all responses I got NOBODY said they had a ZF in a Turbo I'm just curious as to why. If I have to I'll find myself a good m46 and do a complete conversion.
