Re: IPS Boise, ID RULES THE WORLD! ALL all

"How can they do it?"

Charge more for the parts. I shopped around for a pair of ATE Powerslot rotors (vented) for my 240. Shipping costs about $9 total. Here are the prices I found for a pair, including shipping (unless it's free):

$83 - fcpgroton

$90 - importpartsspec.com

$91 - thepartsbin.com (free shipping)

$94 - alloemvolvoparts.com (free shipping)

$103 - gapa.com

$140 - IPD (would actually cost $151 for me since I'm on the east coast)

Instead, I bought from a reputable seller on ebay who has a parts store. Even with shipping, I only paid $73.95 for the pair of new slotted ATE rotors. Of course any one of these sources could have the best price on any number of items. If I needed several items, I'd probably go to one of the free shippers first (or FCP).
