Hey Ben,

You didn't mention if this guy was a Master Vovlo Tech. The first thing I would not do is bring the car back to that guy. Try to found a Volvo Master Tech. Let him or her take a look at your car. Have them hook it upi to the computer to see whether any codes show up. Good Luck!
