Center driveshaft bearing..How to replace??

The rubber mount around my center bearing has turned to oil-soaked cheese, and the spring is MIA, so it's time for a new bearing assembly. How involved is removing the bearing from the front half of the driveshaft? Is a press required or does it just slide off the shaft? What size is the retaining nut and is a gorilla required to loosen it? Any help much appreciated!
