The original 561 is a problem. The 951 might be better but is also known to fail. Now there are a lot of 561 rebuilds in cars and "Testad" or other rebuild notation on them There is a rebuilt in a black plastic housing. I assume these are better. The ECUs go for $100-150, market rate. I suggest having one if you come accross a deal, even if you do not need it now. Also, a spare 016 AMM just so you can easily diagnose future trouble and avoid costly repairs.
