heater hoses -- how to remove/replace? 700 1989

I'm thinking about replacing the entire (original) cooling system, including radiator, all hoses, and heater control valve. I think the heater control valve and the heater hose coming from the water pump will be easy to get to, but the heater hose that goes into the engine right under intake #4 looks like it is difficult to access.

So what's the best way to get at this hose and the hose clamp?
