George,

thank you for your kind words. I'm glad I could pass as an american at least in writing. The severity of my accent when speaking depends on how tired I am, when I'm well awake it's not too intrusive. It further helps to have been in the US for a few weeks, and working for the dutch branch of an english company where I use english about half the time certainly doesn't hurt either. Most native english speakers can tell I'm not and tend to assume I've spent a significant amount of time in the US. Who knows, you may well get your chance to judge for yourself some day.
