New CD deck OR CD changer? 700

Install the Clarion CD-Reciever unit! I put a ProAudio DRX6375 in my 91 744TI, WORLD of difference. BETTER SOUND ANY WAY YOU PUT IT than the stock one!!! One warning, the front dash 3.5's are LOUD with aftermarket radios (they will handle the power though)! I cut the plug to install mine, as won't be going back to the stock radio (pesky anti-theft thing). Make sure the two yellow wires (with white stripes I believe) are capped together (these aren't you acc or constant pwr). If not, you'll have to lights.

Your rear/front door speakers are 5" stock, and can handle the power. You can fit some brands of 5.25" one here (I put in 5.25" Infinity Kappa's in front doors w/stock 5" Volvo in rear doors, sounded great!)

Yhave to bypass the factory amp for the rear & front door speakers(e-mail me and I'll explain). Dash speakers is normal wiring from the factory harness.

Final note of caution, the front speakers are a pain to replace. I replaced w/3.25 Kappas (the speaker is molded into the grille, you have to literally trim them off!)

The cd-players w/fm modulators are a pain to install in the 740 sedans, due to having to mount the modulator unit near the antenna and run wires back to the front. Plus, you loose sound quality off these. Trade for a good pro-audio receiver, and but the optional cd changer later if you think you'll need it.
