Thanks for the advise! They installed the Clarion yesterday and it works GREAT! The "crackel" seems to be gone :) The install guys said there was something wrong with the Volvo amp and that was probably causing the problem. Thanks again for the help. Now I can play CDs! Yay!!

BTW- I noticed that in the back of the stock deck there is a plug that says "CD". Is this for a changer??? There was nothing about that in the owner's manual????
