blown head-gasket? 700 1988

I have an 88 745Ti with 194k. I was driving on the highway and noticed that my heater stopped blowing hot air. Next, I noticed my temperature gauge rise from middle position to 3/4 then back to middle. I got off at the next exit and my temp. gauge began to rise again and as I pulled over the gauge hit the red. I shut down just as this happened and found that there was a leak in the front of my radiator spraying out coolant. A week later I had it towed and started it up to move it a few feet(I replaced the coolant). The next day, I noticed that the oil dipstick looked milky red/brown and the car wouldn't start. It seems like coolant is getting into the oil, but not sure where (head?). I've read about a coolant system pressure test and understand that I'm going to probably be looking at taking the whole thing apart. (I can't afford a shop and I have an 85 740 that can get me to the parts store and back!) Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
