No bait, no bite, simple fact. The relays used on the '83 and '84 LH system were a metal-cased sealed relay. They don't have the printed circuit board, so have no solder connections to fail or resolder. In contrast, the earlier and later relays DO have those troublesome solder connections that will leave you powerless at the worst possible time. Or fuel-less.
