I replaced a burned out normal halogen low beam headlight with a higher intensity unit and now the bulb-out warning light comes on each time I turn the headlights on. I am thinking that the new Hi-intensity headlight is drawing more current than the other side and this may be tricking the bulb-out sensor circuit into thinking there is a problem because of the different amperage draw from each headlight. If I flick the headlight knob quickly off and on after the lights are on, the warning light goes out like magic.
