High compression??? 200 1987

Just thinking out loud...round numbers 15lb/sq. in. x 10:1 ~150lb...200lb ~ 13:1

2300cc/4 =575cc, 575/10=58cc, 575/13=44cc... does that mean there's 14cc of carbon that doesn't belong in there plus or minus practical measurement limitations?

I know I need to replace my 35yo compression tester. The schraeder valve is not sealing properly to the plug fitting and the hose is dry rotting. I'm not sure I even know how to use it correctly for absolute readings, i.e. cranking time, open throttle plate, oil on rings. Does ok for comparison.
