separate amp on 760? 700 1988

Jim,

What year 760? My 1988 has a two channel head unit (similar to what you mentioned)which powers only the dash speakers. The external amp (below the steering column, above the driver's knees) powers the speakers in the front and rear doors. I hope this helps...
