Spark Plug Gapping 700

Spec is .028". Do you you mean you measured .056" to .072"!!! If so I would fire your mechanic. For the gap to be .072 somebody must have intentially deformed the electrode to some wierd angle. Gapping is important to cars on all continents. I am not aware that cars from specific continents have generally larger or smaller gap specifications.

I think it would be good to replace all your plugs with new of the best quality.

I am curious what kind of noise was quieted by regapping those plugs.
