The wires from the front wheel abs sensors are connected to the wiring harness under the hood, by the top of the respective shock tower. Testing the resistance of the sensor from this connector with a multi-meter will help determine if the sensor and wiring is ok.
There are just two wires that run to each sensor. I guess you could just splice in new wiring between the connector and the sensor, provided the sensors test ok. Home speaker wire would probably even work. Used replacements are pretty cheap though. The last one I changed on mine ran about $15, including the entire wiring up to the connector.
