In addition to what the other fellow said, You should clean and tighten all the grounds you can find, particularly back by the rear lights. The amber light you mention comes on when there is an imbalance between two matched lights. If it comes on when you step on the brakes, there is an imbalance between the brake lights. One may be burned out or there is a bad connection, a bad ground, or the two lamp bulbs don't match. The fact that the fog light indicator comes on makes me suspect the grounds. After you clean the fuses, check to see if both the gas and temperature guages are not working. These both get power from a small voltage regulator on the back of the instrument cluster. If one guage works, this regulator is probably OK.
If you do remove the instrument cluster, make a drawing of where the wires connect, particularly the single wires.
