Here's how it went for me (non-turbo):
Note: Jack up the engine AT YOUR OWN RISK. One guy reported denting-in the oil pan, but I don't think he had both mounts unbolted. Some people raise the engine from above, which probably isn't a bad idea.
Remove the belly pan from under the engine if it hasn't already fallen
off.
On the RH side, pull the flex hose loose from the heat riser and just
sort of hang it out of the way.
On the LH side, disconnect the air intake hose at the engine and the air
box, and remove it from car.
You might want to disconnect the battery cable, as you will be getting
close to the cable connection at the starter when removing the
LH mount.
Remove the large nut (15mm wrench?) which fastens each mount to it's
engine bracket. You don't need to remove the brackets from
the engine.
Put a floor jack cup square under the oil pan drain, with a couple
folded-up rags for a pad between the two. Start jacking.
For now, just take some of the weight off the mounts.
Remove all the nuts or bolts holding the lower brackets to the frame.
Some you'll get from the top - some from the bottom. There are 3
or 4 on each side of the car. (You are going to remove the lower
brackets and mounts as a unit.)
Continue jacking up the engine high enough to remove the
mounts/brackets.
Caution..When it gets up to a certain point the fan blade will start
pressing against the top of the shroud. You should be able to pull the
flexible blade back enough to clear it.
Don't raise the engine any higher than you need to, as you don't want to
damage the distributer, wiring, hoses, etc.
Keep in mind the new mounts will be slightly taller than the old ones,
so make certain there's a little extra travel available in the jack
before removing the old mounts.
Once removed, you can take to the bench and unbolt the mounts from the
lower brackets. Keep track of left and right brackets - I'm
pretty sure they're different.
Drink a beer.
Now....Reverse the process.
Have fun
