I think Mobil1 10W-30 could easily go to 7500-8000 miles if you do go to 10,000 miles get an oil analysis, but 10K miles shouldn't be a huge issue. I go 10K miles in my TURBO with Amsoil, and Amsoil Series 0W-30 is designed for 35,000 miles change intervals.
