Temp. Compensation Board

I can't think of a way to 'check' it while it's still installed.
I think I would try taping an Oven Thermometer to the upper hose and drive it around and see if it reads around 190 ish. I would also make sure the spade lug is making a good connection to the sender (yellow wire behind Distributor).
If the temp. is good and the connection is good then I would 'Play' with the Compensation board. When my board went bad the Gauge never came off 'Ice Cold' But if the Board isn't Regulating properly then it could read hot.
