Window regulator question 700 1992

Don:

The window regulator provided by rhaire will not work on your car. You will have to purchase a 940 window regulator since your 740 is essentially a 940. Call the guys at Swedish Engineering. I bought one for my 92 745t from them for 150.00 dollars. This was the motor and regulator.

Your are correct in that you will have to drill out the rivits that hold the regulator\motor to the door. This is a very straight forward job and should not hold any suprises. Take your time and procede carefully. Before you begin, make sure the window is in the up postion. Use some duct tape to hold it in place while you remove and replace the regulator. If you have any questions let me know.

Were are you located? If you are close to the Dallas\Ft. Worth a small group of Brick owners is trying to put together a 700\900 club to help each other maintain cars inexpensively.
