Get a trailer with the tires as wide as legally posible. this will do two things. 1. Trailers that have a wide stance tend to have the Deck lower for easier loading, The trailer wheelwells will be up along side the Vaux.
2. The lower center of gravity will help you around the turns.
10 miles is not a long haul so you will be OK. don't let anyone behind you intimidate you into going faster then you feel comfortable. On boat trailers they sell Piston Brake setups. They work well and you wont have to go nuts setting up the electrical braking. Look for that in the trailer. Make sure they also give you a pin to put in that piston so if you have to back up , uphill the trailer wont think it needs to apply brakes.
