The Haynes manual is your best bet. I think the Bentleys is a better manual than Haynes but will be of limited use with the 740.

The Chiltons on the other hand has been found very usefull by some Volvo owners. The absorbant quality of the pages is excellent if you have a cat with bladder control problems, others have found these pages just the right size to line their bird cage.
