Yes, it is the Garret T3. All turbo hoses are new except for the one between the AMM and turbocharger. This one is over five years old, but it is a Volvo hose and it looks and feel new. Indeed, Volvo hoses seem to perform best and last longest. Where this hose attaches at the bottom of the blow-off valve, the clamp was not sealing perfectly. This is a curious looking clamp with a brass screw that goes through the clamp and pushed a piece of inner clamp lining perpendicularly agains the hose. The leak was not much, only and occasional and brief rise of 40 rpm when I blew propane gas at a point in the conection of the hose to the valve. Apparently, turbocharger pressure opened the gap and let intake air escape, resulting in the too rich fuel/air. BTW, I remeber you insisted in the air leak diagnosis. Thank you and I take my hat off to you. The hose between the intercooler and the aluminum elbow atached to the turbochager shows a bit of oil coming from that aluminum elbow. Other intake hoses, like those and aluminum pipe between intercooler and TB are dry inside and free of oil. I will keep checking for air leaks for a while before put the dawes Device back in the car. I will report. BTW, you also helped me a lot with some headlight questions. I think I have found a reliable and low priced source for new European market headlights, turn signals and so on for 200 and 700 Volvos. I will post about it soon. Best regards.
