More Headroom 700

The Service Bulletin to replace the seat cushion on the 700 Series with P/N 3525703, to gain "15-20mm" in headroom, also specifies a new heater pad, P/N 1388874 ($131.08). Any idea if the old heater pad can be used, or what the differences are? Also, I just posted a new 900 Series "more headroom" seat cushion for sale in the Classifieds (don't ask).
