Are KYB and Boge gas still the shocks of choice for a 700 wagon? I am not looking for race car stuff, just good control for a family car. Haynes says something about needing to convert a bracket for the switch from factory to gas strut inserts - any comments? Can anyone give me a time estimate for this job with and without air tools for an average shade tree mechanic - I've done tie rods and ball joints on a 200 series.
