Still Need to Know How to Reset 'Check Engine Light 'on 1995 940T

problem is fixed (I forgot to reconnect the sensor when I put in a new air filter).

What is socket 2? What kind of probe?

Is there any way I can reset the light w/o going to the dealer? ie with simple hand tools?
